Suggested Itinerary

After pickup from your hotel in Miami, begin your coastal escape by joining 1Overseas Highway Scenic Drive, one of the most scenic drives in the United States. Travel across long bridges suspended above turquoise waters, with endless sea views and opportunities for memorable photo stops along the way.

Arrive in 2Key Largo Visitor Center & John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park Area, where the relaxed rhythm of the Florida Keys comes to life. Surrounded by mangroves, coral reefs, and calm bays, this area is ideal for a gentle walk, time by the shoreline, or a visit to a nearby state park.

Continue through 3Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park, a peaceful natural area where shaded trails and native vegetation reveal the quieter, greener side of the Keys. Enjoy a calm break immersed in tropical surroundings away from the open highway.

Conclude your day at 4Key Largo Waterfront Stop, a waterfront spot perfect for unwinding by the bay. Watch boats glide past, enjoy a local seafood lunch if you wish, or simply relax with views of the water before beginning the return journey.

On the drive back to Miami, the changing afternoon light transforms the Overseas Highway into a final scenic highlight, with shimmering blues and golden reflections across the sea.
