Suggested itinerary

After pickup from your accommodation in central Phnom Penh, begin at 1Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum / S-21, a former school that was converted into Security Prison 21 during the Khmer Rouge period. Today, the site serves as a museum and memorial documenting the experiences of those who were imprisoned there.

Continue outside the city centre to 2Choeung Ek Genocidal Center / Killing Fields, one of Cambodia’s most important memorial sites. Walk through the grounds, learn about the history of the location, and visit the memorial stupa dedicated to the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Return to central Phnom Penh and stop at 3Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Monument, a prominent monument symbolising the historical relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam following the end of the Khmer Rouge period.
