Suggested Itinerary

Step beyond the city and explore one of the most fascinating and politically significant areas in the world on this private DMZ experience from Seoul. Travel in comfort with your private driver as you head toward the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), the heavily guarded border that separates North and South Korea.

Your journey begins with pickup from your accommodation in 1Seoul City and a scenic drive north toward the border region.

Your first stop is 2Imjingak Park, a symbolic site filled with monuments, memorials, and relics of the Korean War. Here, you’ll see displays reflecting hopes for reunification and learn about the historical context of the divided peninsula.

Nearby, walk across the historic 3Freedom Bridge, once used by prisoners of war returning to the South. The bridge stands today as a powerful reminder of the conflict and the enduring wish for peace.

Continue underground to the 4The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, one of several tunnels secretly dug by North Korea and discovered in the 1970s. Descend into this remarkable passageway and learn about its strategic purpose and the tense history surrounding its discovery.

Next, head to 5Dora Observatory, where, on clear days, you can peer across the border into North Korea. Through binoculars, you may spot propaganda villages, farmland, and even the city of Kaesong in the distance — a rare and thought-provoking glimpse into the neighboring country.

Your final stop is 6Dorasan Station, a symbolic railway station built with hopes of future reunification. Although trains currently do not cross the border, the station represents the dream of reconnecting the Korean Peninsula by rail one day.
