Suggested Itinerary

Take a refreshing break from Seville and discover two lesser-known Andalusian gems: Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz. Your Welcome Driver will pick you up at your preferred time for a comfortable private journey, sharing local stories, historical context, and personal insights as you travel.

After about an hour on the road, arrive in Jerez de la Frontera, renowned for its 2Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, where magnificent horses perform every Thursday at noon. Explore the historic center and visit the 3 Alcázar of Jerez, an impressive fortress with strong defensive walls and towers that house two exhibitions showcasing the city’s heritage. Nearby, admire 4Jerez de la Frontera Cathedral , a beautiful landmark blending Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassical architectural styles.

Continue with a 30-minute drive to the charming port city of Cádiz. Often overlooked yet rich in history and culinary delights, 5Cádiz offers a quintessential seaside atmosphere. Stroll through its oldest district, El Pópulo, a maze of cobblestone alleys lined with shops, restaurants, and inviting tapas bars. In Plaza de la Catedral, take in the grandeur of the 6Cádiz Cathedral, best admired from the seafront promenade, Campo del Sur, especially under the warm evening light.

Be sure to visit La Viña, a vibrant neighborhood considered the soul of Cádiz, filled with lively eateries specializing in fresh fish and relaxed bars perfect for a late drink. For panoramic city views, climb Torre Tavira, the official watchtower among more than 100 scattered across Cádiz. If the weather is kind, finish with a peaceful walk along Caleta Beach, soaking up the sunshine and sea breeze.
