Suggested Itinerary

Escape the city and step into a world of palm trees, Moorish heritage, and elegant Spanish plazas in the nearby city of Elche. Your Welcomer will serve as your local guide, sharing historical context, cultural highlights, and personal tips along the way.

Your journey begins with a peaceful stroll through the 2Huerto del Cura Garden Huerto del Cura, a beautifully landscaped palm garden featuring exotic trees and the famous Imperial Palm. Entrance is optional, but the exterior garden and surrounding groves are also worth admiring.

Next, enjoy a drive through the 3Palmeral Viewpoint Drive Palmeral of Elche, a vast UNESCO-listed palm forest that makes Elche one of Europe’s greenest cities. Your driver will take you through palm-lined avenues and offer stops for photos.

Continue into 4Elche Old Town & Santa María Basilica Elche’s Old Town, where you’ll visit the elegant Santa María Basilica (exterior visit), known for its baroque façade and role in the city's famed Mystery Play.
