Do the tickets have certain dates?
No, the tickets are open and you can visit the sights whenever fits your schedule, within the opening hours.
Acropolis Hill is open from 8am till 8pm (last admission 7.30pm) As of September 1st 2018, opening hours will be modified due to the gradual decrease of daylight, as following: 1st till 15th September 08:00-19:30, 16th till 30th September 08:00-19:00, 1st till 15th October 08:00-18:30, 16th till 31st October 08:00-18:00.
Acropolis Museum Summer season hours (1 April - 31 October)
Monday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday - Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Winter season hours (1 November - 31 March)
Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Last admission for Acropolis Museum is 30 minutes before closing time.
Are there any reduced or free tickets?
Yes, there are reduced and free tickets but we do not offer them as part of this product.
For the Acropolis Museum admission is free for children under 5, young EU people under 18 and international students (holding international student card). There are also reduced tickets for non-EU people under 18 and non-EU students.
For the Acropolis Hill admission is free for young people under 18 and EU students. There are also reduced tickets for non-EU students.
Also kindly be informed that there are dates when the Acropolis Hil and/or the Museum allow free entrance to guests: 6 March (in memory of Melina Mercouri), 18 April (International Monuments Day), 18 May (International Museums Day), the last weekend of September annually (European Heritage Days), 28 October, every first Sunday from November 1st to March 31st. If you are eligible for a discounted or free ticket the best advice would be to go early in the morning and get them from the counter of the Museum and the Rock.
