Suggested Itinerary

Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel or cruise port in Belfast and travel south to 1Newcastle & Slieve Donard Viewpoint. Here, enjoy views of Slieve Donard rising dramatically from the shoreline, setting the tone for your journey into the Mourne Mountains.

Continue through 2Mourne Mountains Scenic Drive & Glenviews, following scenic roads that wind through granite ridges, open valleys, and glacial rivers, offering wide-ranging views of Northern Ireland’s most iconic natural landscape.

Arrive at 3Silent Valley Reservoir & Dam, a peaceful highland setting surrounded by mountains. Take time for photos, a gentle walk, or a quiet moment to appreciate the stillness of this remote area.

If you wish, make a relaxed stop at 4Tollymore Forest Park. Explore woodland paths lined with ferns, moss-covered stones, and filtered mountain light in one of the region’s most atmospheric forests.
