➜ Balandra has strict daily capacity limits. The official La Paz tourism authority currently lists two access periods — 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 — with a maximum of 450 visitors per session.

➜ Entry to Balandra cannot be guaranteed solely by arriving early. Current private-tour reviews document cases where guests departed Cabo at 05:00 and still found the beach at capacity. 

➜ Balandra currently charges an access/conservation fee; the official tourism authority lists MXN 120 for general visitors, subject to change. 

➜ Balandra is around 30 minutes from central La Paz, and the official site recommends arriving early due to frequent queues. 

➜ The drive from Cabo San Lucas to Balandra is substantial — roughly 185 km and around 2.5 hours each way under normal conditions. 

➜ Swimming is optional and subject to weather and local conditions.
