Achilleion Palace
A neoclassical palace commissioned by Empress Elisabeth of Austria in the late 19th century. Its gardens are lined with statues of Achilles and classical figures, while the interiors showcase opulent period rooms and sweeping views over the sea.
Kanoni & Vlacherna Monastery
Perhaps the most iconic postcard of Corfu — a small white chapel on an islet linked by a causeway, with Mouse Island in the background. It’s also one of the world’s most dramatic plane-spotting locations, as aircraft pass low overhead when landing.
Mon Repos Estate & Museum
A neoclassical villa set in a tranquil park by the sea. The surrounding gardens are free for a relaxing walk, while the museum inside the villa holds archaeological finds from Corfu’s ancient past.

Suggested Itinerary
Begin your day with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation in Corfu Town and travel south toward an area rich in imperial history and unforgettable coastal views.
Your first stop is 1Achilleion Palace, the elegant palace built for Empress Elisabeth of Austria, also known as “Sisi.” Dedicated to the hero Achilles, the palace features neoclassical statues, manicured terraces, and sweeping sea views. Inside, richly decorated rooms reflect 19th-century European grandeur. (Entrance ticket required; not included in the ride price.)
Continue to 2Kanoni & Vlacherna Monastery, one of Corfu’s most photographed and iconic scenes. From this viewpoint, admire the whitewashed Vlacherna Monastery set on its own tiny islet, with Mouse Island just beyond. It’s also a unique spot to watch planes pass low overhead as they approach the nearby runway. The monastery is free to enter, with modest dress recommended.
Conclude your ride at 3Mon Repos Estate & Museum, the seaside estate of Mon Repos. Stroll through shaded gardens and open parkland, or choose to visit the small archaeological museum housed inside the neoclassical villa. The park is freely accessible, while museum entry requires a ticket not included in the ride price.
After exploring Corfu’s southern highlights, relax as your driver returns you comfortably to your accommodation in Corfu Town, offering time to reflect on the island’s blend of imperial heritage, coastal scenery, and relaxed local life.
