Suggested Itinerary

Begin your day with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation in Frankfurt and enjoy a scenic private drive south toward the romantic city of Heidelberg.

Your first stop is 1Heidelberg Castle, a striking Renaissance ruin set high above the city. If you choose to enter, explore the castle grounds, gardens, and historic interiors, including the famous large wine barrel, while taking in sweeping views over the Neckar Valley.

Continue downhill into 2Old Town (Altstadt) , where baroque façades, narrow streets, and lively squares create a timeless atmosphere. Enjoy free time to stroll, browse local shops, or simply soak in the historic character of the city.

Next, cross 3Karl Theodor Bridge (Old Bridge), one of Heidelberg’s most photographed landmarks. From here, admire postcard-perfect views of the river, the Old Town, and the castle rising above the skyline.

If you wish, take a gentle walk along 4Philosopher’s Walk (Optional), a scenic path on the opposite riverbank offering elevated panoramic views over Heidelberg and its surrounding landscape.

Conclude your visit with time for lunch or coffee at a riverside café, followed by optional free time before relaxing on the comfortable return drive to Frankfurt.
