Start your journey with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation in San José, where your English-speaking Welcome Driver will meet you and prepare you for a smooth and relaxed sightseeing ride into the surrounding highlands.

Begin with 1Irazú Volcano National Park, home to Costa Rica’s highest active volcano. Enjoy panoramic views from the crater area on clear days, where you may even spot both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts, and learn about the volcano’s geological significance.

Continue to 2Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, Costa Rica’s most important religious site. Visit this revered basilica in Cartago, a major pilgrimage destination with deep spiritual and historical importance.

Next, enjoy 3Orosí Valley Scenic Drive, passing through one of the country’s most picturesque regions. Take in rolling green hills, coffee plantations, rivers, and traditional villages as you experience Costa Rica’s rural charm.

Finish your sightseeing experience at 4Ujarrás Ruins, the remains of one of Costa Rica’s oldest colonial churches. Set against a lush valley backdrop, this peaceful historical site offers insight into the country’s early colonial past.

At the end of your sightseeing ride, your Welcome Driver will drop you off directly at your accommodation or any central location you prefer in San José.

➜ Entrance tickets are not included. Your driver can advise you on ticket options and booking tips for national parks and historical sites.
