Suggested Itinerary

Leave the city behind with pickup from your accommodation in Santiago and head into the dramatic mountain landscapes of 1Cajón del Maipo Scenic Drive. As you travel through this scenic gorge, enjoy ever-changing views of the Maipo River, rugged cliffs, deep valleys, and snowcapped Andean peaks.

Continue onward to 2El Yeso Reservoir (Embalse el Yeso), a striking glacial reservoir known for its vivid turquoise waters set against stark mountain slopes. Spend time taking photos, enjoying a short walk, or simply relaxing while breathing in the fresh alpine air.

If you wish, make an optional stop at 3Tinoco Tunnel (Optional exterior visit), an abandoned railway tunnel known for its atmospheric setting and local legends. This off-the-beaten-path location offers a unique contrast to the surrounding natural scenery.

Later, enjoy a relaxed lunch break at a countryside restaurant, sampling traditional Chilean dishes, or opt for a picnic surrounded by mountain views with your driver’s assistance.
