Your private sightseeing car ride

We booked this tour as we had time to spare between our flights. Our driver was very friendly and gave us a very quick tour just to get an idea of the city. Definitely recommend if you have a connecting flight in Istanbul.

What do you do when you have only a few hours and want to make the most of them? At the end of a cruise, we had to be out of our cabin by 8:00 am. But our flight from Barcelona wasn't til 4. What to do with the time in between? And what to do with our luggage. We contacted Welcome and set up a private half day tour with a transfer to the airport. We were met by Cesar who took us to the places we'd missed the previous day, then to the airport with plenty of time. Cesar was professional, competent and humorous. The Mercedes van was clean, airconditioned and comfortable. It was a great value for the limited time we had.

This was a great full-day trip going to Montserrat, then a traditional Catalan lunch in a nearby village, then to a winery for wine and cava tasting. There were only three of us, plus our wonderful driver, Angel, so it was a really nice size to be able to ask questions and feel like you were getting personalized attention. Montserrat is really beautiful. Even as a completely non-religious person, I enjoyed the visit and thought it was interesting. We were above the cloud-line the entire time, so it felt otherworldly. Lunch was great, as was the very informative visit tot he winery. All in all, a great day that I would recommend if you are looking to see something outside the city.
