Suggested Itinerary

Begin your journey with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation in Venice and set off toward the southern lagoon for a full-day escape to Chioggia, often called “Little Venice” for its charming canals and authentic local atmosphere.

Arrive at 1Chioggia Old Town, where colourful houses, narrow waterways, and working fishing boats create a lively, traditional setting. Continue on foot to 2Vigo Bridge & Corso del Popolo, one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks, before strolling along Corso del Popolo, Chioggia’s main street, lined with local shops, churches, and everyday Venetian life.

Take time to visit the 3Museum of Adriatic Zoology (optional visit) to learn about the marine life of the region, or enjoy a relaxed walk through the historic fish market and marina, where the town’s seafaring heritage is on full display.

Next, travel to 4Sottomarina Beachfront, a long stretch of sandy shore ideal for a coastal walk or a short coffee break while enjoying the fresh sea air.
