We were planning this trip to Jerusalem for a long time. Traveling from the US we were a little afraid that no one will speak English. We found Welcome Pickups and their driver Abraham. He was really great and knew his country's history so well. This is a land full history. We took valuable lessons from Abraham. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!

Tel Aviv, a city on Israel’s Mediterranean coast, is marked by stark 1930s Bauhaus buildings, thousands of which are clustered in the White City architectural area.

Via Dolorosa
The Via Dolorosa is a processional route in the Old City of Jerusalem, believed to be the path that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion.

Armenian Quarter
The Armenian Quarter is one of the four quarters of the walled Old City of Jerusalem. Located in the southwestern corner of the Old City.

Byzantine Cardo
Remains of the Byzantine Cardo were found in the Jewish Quarter excavations beginning in 1969.
About the ride
Your day will begin with an early morning pickup by your English-speaking driver from your hotel or apartment in 1Tel Aviv / Starting Point. Throughout the day your driver will continue to share with you his local knowledge and historical facts about the places vitied. Your driver will also suggest photo stops of important landmarks along the way, however, you may choose where and for how long you wish to stop at each place. Our drivers are very knowledgable about the magnificent history of Jerusalem.
Get picked up from the central Tel Aviv and travel in your private air-conditioned car with free WiFi to the biblical city of Jerusalem.
The trip will begin with a breathtaking view of Jerusalem. As if in the palm of our hand, you will see the Old City and the Temple Mount area and imagine the Second Temple destroyed in 70 CE and Solomon’s Temple before that, destroyed in 586 BCE.
As we drive along the Kidron Valley you will see a fascinating view of Mount Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations as well as of the monumental ancient Jewish burial tombs. We enter the Old City through from Mt. Zion, passing the 3Armenian Quarter to the excavated
4Byzantine Cardo. Although this fifteen hundred-year-old main street of Jerusalem was partially destroyed and unused during the Moslem conquest it had a brief new lease of life during the Crusader period and the excavated Crusader shops are now modern stores.
Continuing through the 5Jewish Quarter we proceed to the
6Western Wall (Kotel). This two-thousand-year-old wall is part of the encircling and supporting wall built by King Herod when of the Temple Mount area was enlarged.
