Mykonos Town / Starting Point
Mykonos is an island in the Aegean Sea with iconic landmarks including a row of 16th-century windmills, which sit on a hill above Mykonos town.

About the ride
A pearl in the Aegean Sea - blue sky, beautiful snow- white houses, lovely beaches everywhere…Starting the Half Day Island tour (about 3 hours) we get orientation and information of the island and begin the exploration, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape. We see fishermen and kaikis, small private chapels and houses built in typical cycladic style.
Our first stop is the beach of Agios Ioannis (Saint John) with the small picturesque port, made famous from the 80’s movie “Shirley Valentine”. Afterwards we continue visiting Kalafatis beach, the longest beach of the island, and here we have the opportunity of enjoying a coffee or refreshment by the sea.
The third stop of our tour in the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6km from town, where you have enough free time for a stroll around the traditional square and you can visit the monk monastery Panagia Tourliani built in the 16th century, and have a taste of traditional Greek coffee! If you get lucky, the coffee fortune teller will “see” your future in your cup!
The lighthouse “Armenistis” is our next stop, giving a breathtaking view of Tinos and Syros Islands. Before going back to your hotel we reach the Mykonian Panorama, a place over Mykonos Town offering a fantastic view of the town and the neighboring islands.
