Suggested Itinerary

Your day begins with a personal pickup from your hotel or apartment in Rome by your English-speaking driver. After a warm welcome, you’ll board your private vehicle and start your 275 km journey north toward Florence—the birthplace of the Renaissance.

Relax as you travel through the picturesque countryside, passing rustic landscapes along the “Sun Route” motorway and crossing through Lazio and Umbria before reaching Tuscany. Throughout the drive, your driver will share local insights and suggest scenic photo stops, while you remain free to choose where and for how long you wish to pause—your tour is fully customizable.

Upon arriving in Florence, you’ll be taken into the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre, where you can stretch your legs and begin exploring some of Italy’s most significant Piazzas. Piazza del Duomo is an essential stop, home to the landmark Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, known as the Duomo. Be sure to admire and photograph Giotto’s Bell Tower and Brunelleschi’s extraordinary octagonal dome, one of Florence’s most iconic architectural achievements.

Nearby, your driver will take you to one of the museums recommended for your tour—the Accademia Gallery. Here you can see Michelangelo’s original David, making it one of the most visited museums in the city. Thanks to your Welcome service, skip-the-line tickets can be pre-booked for a smoother experience. Just a short walk away is the Basilica di Santa Croce, the principal Franciscan church in Florence. Often called the Temple of the Italian Glories, it is the burial place of Michelangelo, Donatello, and Machiavelli.

After discovering Florence’s historic treasures, your driver will take you to the Old Bridge, Ponte Vecchio, for a relaxing lunch stop. As Florence sits in the heart of Tuscany, you’ll enjoy some of Italy’s freshest regional ingredients, delicious wines, and local delicacies before continuing your tour.

From here, you may cross the famed Vasari Corridor or head to another recommended museum, the Uffizi Gallery.
