About the ride

First, after a 30-minute ride, you will reach Zaanse Schans, a residential area where the 18th and 19th centuries come to life. Along the way, you will see various authentic workshops where the traditional wooden clog - shoes are made. Do not miss out on visiting the cheese factory, the pewter foundry, and the famous Dutch windmills.
Next stop - Volendam. Here you will find the best-known fishing villages in Holland. The village has a beautiful harbor full of Dutch ships. From there you can take a boat trip to Marken. Finally, you will reach the third province - Marken. It was separated from the mainland by the storm in the 13th century. This catastrophe was followed by centuries of isolation of Marken population. Soon, the area became beloved by the local fishermen.
