If you’re looking for an in-depth exploration of Rome’s most popular landmarks and historic sites, this full-day “Best of Rome” tour is the ideal choice. Your Welcome Driver will pick you up directly from your accommodation and take you on a tailor-made journey through the city’s most iconic, significant, and beautiful locations. While the tour is completely customizable, the following itinerary provides an excellent base.

Begin in ancient Rome, where the city’s extraordinary history unfolds before you. Here you’ll see the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximus—once the grand arena for chariot races—the Palace of the Emperor, and the magnificent Colosseum, an essential symbol of the Eternal City.

Next, travel up the “Road of Temples” toward Piazza Venezia, the lively central hub of the city, before entering Rome’s religious heart. Explore the Pantheon, one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in the world, and visit the Trevi Fountain, where tradition invites you to toss a coin to ensure your return to Rome.
