Your experience begins at 1Ban Jelačić Square, the vibrant heart of Zagreb and the city’s main gathering place. Surrounded by elegant buildings, cafés, and shops, the square has been the center of Zagreb’s social life for centuries and serves as the perfect starting point for discovering the city.

Continue to the magnificent 2Zagreb Cathedral, the tallest building in Croatia and one of the country’s most important religious landmarks. Its striking twin Gothic spires dominate the skyline, while inside you’ll find beautiful stained-glass windows and historic tombs.

Just a short distance away is the colorful 3St. Mark’s Church, famous for its unique tiled roof displaying the coats of arms of Croatia, Dalmatia, Slavonia, and the city of Zagreb. Located in the historic Upper Town, it is one of the city’s most photographed landmarks.

Next, experience local daily life at 4Dolac Market, often called “the belly of Zagreb.” This lively open-air market is filled with stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and traditional Croatian products beneath its iconic red umbrellas.

Your journey continues to 5Lotrščak Tower, a historic defensive tower dating back to the 13th century. From here you can enjoy beautiful views over Zagreb’s rooftops and learn about the famous daily cannon blast that has been fired from the tower every day at noon since the 19th century.

Finally, visit the peaceful and architecturally impressive 6Mirogoj Cemetery, considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Europe. Its arcades, ivy-covered walls, and elegant domes create a serene atmosphere while honoring many of Croatia’s most important historical figures.
