Central Market / Phsar Thmei

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum / S-21
Visit the former Security Prison 21, one of the most significant historical sites in Phnom Penh. Originally built as a school, the complex was converted into a detention and interrogation centre during the Khmer Rouge period. Its preserved rooms, photographs, documents, and exhibitions provide a powerful account of those who were imprisoned there. The visit is deeply moving and offers essential context before continuing to Choeung Ek.
