Suggested Itinerary

Begin your coastal escape with a comfortable pickup in Bordeaux and enjoy a scenic drive toward 1Arcachon Seaside Promenade. Take time to stroll along the waterfront, admire the elegant 19th-century villas, enjoy a coffee, or simply breathe in the fresh Atlantic air.

Continue south to 2Dune du Pilat. At your own pace, walk or climb Europe’s tallest sand dune and take in sweeping views over the ocean, forest, and bay — whether from the summit or below, the setting is unforgettable.

If time allows, your driver can take you to 3Optional Stop in Gujan-Mestras or a Local Oyster Village, a peaceful oyster-farming village nearby. Explore the rustic harbor atmosphere or, if arranged in advance, enjoy an optional oyster tasting overlooking the bay. Please note that tastings are not included in the ride price and must be requested at least two days in advance to ensure availability.

After a relaxed afternoon by the Atlantic, unwind during the return drive to Bordeaux through pine forests and countryside landscapes.

➜ Your driver is a local, English-speaking professional. While not a licensed tour guide, they’re always happy to share stories, insights, and recommendations — much like a knowledgeable friend showing you around.

➜ Pickup and drop-off are included from any centrally located hotel, B&B, or apartment in the city area. Your driver will meet you at the selected location and assist you before the ride begins.

➜ Airport and port pickups/drop-offs are not included in the standard sightseeing ride. If you need one, simply book an additional transfer for seamless service.

➜ Entrance tickets are not included. Optional oyster tastings must be requested in advance and are not included in the ride price.

➜ The itinerary is flexible — feel free to skip stops, stay longer, or adjust the route based on your interests and available time.
