Suggested Itinerary

Begin your half-day escape with a comfortable pickup in Bordeaux and enjoy a scenic drive north through the Gironde region, passing vineyards and river views on the way to 1Blaye Citadel. Upon arrival, explore the Citadel of Blaye at your own pace, walking along its fortified walls, wandering through quiet interior alleys, and taking in sweeping views over the Gironde estuary from this commanding hilltop position.

Afterward, descend to 2Blaye Town Center, the peaceful town located below the citadel. Take time to relax with a drink, stroll through the small town center, or simply enjoy the calm riverside atmosphere.

If you wish to extend the experience, your driver can continue to 3Village of Bourg-sur-Gironde, a nearby riverside village known for its medieval character and tranquil setting, offering a gentle and fitting conclusion to your journey before returning to Bordeaux.
