Town of Cognac
This charming riverside town is the birthplace of the world-renowned brandy. Stroll through its cobbled streets, admire Renaissance architecture, and walk along the Charente River. The old town is compact and picturesque, ideal for light exploration and photos.
Hennessy Maison
One of Cognac’s most iconic houses, Hennessy sits on the riverbank with a striking blend of history and modernity. You may stop for an exterior photo or, if arranged in advance, enjoy an optional guided tasting experience in its visitor center. (Tastings are not included in the ride price and must be arranged with the driver at least 2 days in advance to ensure availability.)
Old Château de Cognac
Once home to King François I, this fortress-like structure is now the headquarters of Baron Otard Cognac. Its dramatic architecture and location above the Charente make it a memorable stop. Entry is optional and requires prior planning if a tasting or interior visit is desired.

Continue to 2Hennessy Maison, the historic headquarters of Hennessy Cognac. From the riverfront, admire the iconic buildings tied to one of the most internationally recognised cognac houses. If arranged in advance, you may also visit the boutique or tasting space for a deeper look into its legacy.
Conclude your visit at 3Old Château de Cognac, a historic château-turned-cognac house where royal history and distilling tradition come together. Its dramatic stone architecture and riverside setting provide a fitting and elegant final stop before beginning the return journey to Bordeaux.
