Founded in 2000 by the Dutch collector Gerard Meulensteen the museum has arranged a lot of exhibitions of leading figures of the Slovak, European and world art scene. The Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, which is surrounded by the River Danube, provides guests not only extraordinary artworks but due to its impressive location, it also features a fantastic view of the flora and fauna of the peninsula.
