She was perfect. Nice, helpful, provided key information about the city. Cheerful attitude and right on time. Couldn't ask for more.

Start your tour and dive into history in the Old Town, the city’s historic center. Wander around 1Rynek Główny, Europe’s largest medieval square surrounded by buildings of unique architecture. At the center of the square, the
2The Cloth Hall is located, but the centerpiece is the magnificent
3St. Mary's Basilica which features the largest Gothic altar in the world. Don’t miss out on the hourly trumpet call that echoes through the entire city. Continuing further down, you will admire the Jagiellonian University and you will pause in front of
4Saints Peter and Paul Church to examine the statues of the 12 apostles at the front gate. If you happen to be there on Thursday you will witness first-hand demonstrations of the longest Foucault pendulum in Poland. Spend some time to explore the Wawel Hill and the
5Wawel Royal Castle that combines Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance styles. The highlight here is the “Dragon” sculpture and the legendary caves.
The next thematic unit of the tour revolves around the Jews. The historically significant Jewish quarter includes the Jewish Square, Christian churches, old synagogues and historical buildings from the former city of 6Kazimierz that was used as a setting for the awarded Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List”.
As any other riverfront city, Krakow presents some beautiful bridges. 7Father Bernatek's Bridge is a very romantic one, ornated with a metal installation. The last part of the tour is a painful reminder of the tragedy that afflicted the Jewish community of Poland. The
8Ghetto Heroes Square and the
9Fragment of the Wall that separated the Jews from the rest of the Poles are must-see cultural locations. Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory, whose owner inspired the same-titled film, is also open to the public.
At the end of the tour, your friendly Welcomer will drop you off at your accommodation in Krakow.
EDITOR’S NOTE
- Make sure to try obwarzanek, a local delicacy very similar to pretzel/bagel.
- Ask your driver where to taste the best goulash soup.

What a great day! It's such a lovely city, Krakow. Michal showed us everything we wanted in a few hours. I have mobility issues and it was nice getting around with a luxury car and having Stefan explaining everything. We also tasted that Polish soup, delicious!
This tour was a fantastic way to see Krakow! Our driver, Piotr, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both fun and informative. Everything was well-organized, and the flexibility made it even better. Highly recommend!
