Begin your experience at 1Pico do Arieiro Summit, where the dramatic mountain landscape reveals one of Madeira’s most unforgettable sights. As the sun rises above the horizon, the surrounding peaks and valleys glow with soft golden light while clouds drift beneath the mountain ridges, creating the famous “sea of clouds” effect that draws visitors from around the world.

After sunrise, you’ll have time to explore the scenic viewpoints around 2Pico do Arieiro Viewpoints & Mountain Trails, where short walking paths offer incredible perspectives of Madeira’s rugged volcanic terrain. Your Welcomer will share insights about the island’s geology and recommend the best viewpoints for photos while keeping the pace relaxed.

If conditions and timing allow, the experience may continue toward 3Santana Viewpoint (Optional Stop), where lush green hills and coastal views reveal another side of Madeira’s dramatic landscape before returning to Funchal.

At the end of your sightseeing ride, your friendly Welcome Driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
