Suggested Itinerary

Begin your Golden Circle adventure at 1Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Iceland’s democracy. Walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates while taking in sweeping views of lava fields, rift valleys, and crystal-clear glacial waters.

Continue to 2Geysir Geothermal Area, the geothermal heart of Iceland. Watch the Strokkur geyser erupt every few minutes, sending steaming water high into the air, and explore bubbling pools and fumaroles across the colorful landscape.

Next, arrive at 3Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Follow the paths to viewpoints overlooking the powerful double cascade as it plunges into a dramatic canyon, feeling the mist rise from the roaring water below.

If you wish to add a relaxing break, your driver can include 4Secret Lagoon (optional). This natural hot spring offers a quieter geothermal bathing experience, perfect for unwinding in warm mineral-rich waters (entry ticket not included).

Enjoy a 5Scenic Drive through Haukadalur & Laugarvatn scenic countryside drive past Laugarvatn Lake and through the Haukadalur Valley, where traditional Icelandic farms, gentle forests, and open landscapes provide a peaceful contrast to the region’s powerful natural sites.
