Suggested Itinerary

Begin your day at 1Hallgrímskirkja Church, where Reykjavík’s most iconic landmark rises above the city. Admire the dramatic, basalt-inspired façade and, if you wish, take the elevator to the tower for panoramic views across the capital and surrounding landscapes.

Continue along the seafront to 2Harpa Concert Hall, the city’s striking waterfront concert hall, followed by a stop at 3Sun Voyager (Sólfar), a sculptural tribute to exploration set against coastal views and distant mountains.

Explore 4Old Harbour, once Reykjavík’s fishing hub and now a lively harbour district filled with creative spaces, cafés, and views of traditional boats. This is a perfect place for a relaxed coffee break if you wish.

Drive west toward 5Grótta Lighthouse, where the open coastline reveals windswept shores, seabirds, and wide ocean views. The peaceful atmosphere makes this stop ideal for photos and quiet reflection.

Then unwind in 9Elliðaárdalur Valley, a tranquil valley park with flowing rivers, small waterfalls, and forested paths—perfect for a gentle walk or peaceful pause.
