Suggested Itinerary

Begin your evening at 1Hallgrímskirkja Church, Reykjavík’s most iconic landmark, beautifully illuminated against the dark northern sky. Take time to admire the glowing tower and dramatic architecture, creating a striking and memorable photo opportunity.

Continue along the waterfront to 2Harpa Concert Hall, where the glass façade comes alive after dark with reflections and shifting colours. Just nearby, pause at 3Sun Voyager (Sólfar), a poetic sculpture set against the sea, adding a quiet, dreamlike mood to the night.

Enjoy a relaxed 4Old Harbour & City Center Drive drive through the Old Harbour and city centre, where historic streets feel calm and intimate in the evening. Soft lights from cafés, galleries, and waterfront buildings reveal a gentler side of Reykjavík.

Optionally, head west to 5Grótta Lighthouse, a windswept coastal spot ideal for stargazing and, in season, possible northern lights sightings. Weather permitting, a short walk here offers a peaceful, almost otherworldly experience.
