Suggested Itinerary

Your sightseeing ride begins at 1Hallgrímskirkja Church, Reykjavík’s most iconic landmark rising above the city skyline. Admire the striking basalt-inspired architecture and, if you wish, take the elevator to the top for sweeping panoramic views across the city and surrounding landscapes.

Continue to 2Harpa Concert Hall, the city’s modern architectural centerpiece on the waterfront. Its glass façade reflects sea, sky, and light, making it a standout stop for photos and a glimpse into Reykjavík’s contemporary culture.

Just along the coast, pause at 3Sun Voyager (Sólfar), a stainless-steel sculpture symbolising exploration and discovery. From here, enjoy coastal views across the bay with Mount Esja often visible in the distance.

Next, head toward 4Old Harbour , once the heart of Reykjavík’s fishing industry and now a lively harbor area filled with restaurants, local art spaces, and maritime charm.

Leave the city behind briefly as you drive out to 5Grótta Lighthouse & Peninsula, a windswept peninsula where sea, sky, and nature take center stage. This peaceful stop is ideal for a quiet walk, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the open coastal scenery.

Continue uphill to 6Perlan (Exterior & Viewpoint), where a glass-domed landmark and surrounding terrace offer one of the best viewpoints in Reykjavík. From here, take in wide views of the city, coastline, and — on clear days — distant mountains and glaciers.
