Suggested Itinerary

Take a day trip from Lisbon to Sintra and Cascais, two of the most stunning and visited destinations in Portugal. During this experience, you will explore Sintra’s colorful castles and gardens, then continue to the authentic fishing town of Cascais with its beautiful beaches and natural surroundings. As this is a fully customizable trip, you can choose where to go first and how long to spend at each stop.

Your day begins with a personal pickup from your hotel or apartment in Lisbon by your professional English-speaking driver. You will travel in an air-conditioned, spacious vehicle and can stop at picturesque viewpoints along the way to admire Portuguese architecture and nature. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Sintra, a charming Portuguese town known for its palaces, vibrant castles, and lush gardens. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit major attractions such as the Pena Palace or Quinta da Regaleira.

Once you have discovered the highlights of Sintra, your driver will take you to Cascais. In less than 30 minutes, you’ll arrive in this authentic fishing town, where you can explore its stunning beaches and scenic coastal areas. Your driver will also bring you to Boca do Inferno (Hell’s Mouth) or another nearby viewpoint, allowing you to experience one of Cascais’ top natural attractions.

Throughout the day, your driver can recommend the best places to enjoy traditional Portuguese meals or pastries. Be sure to try a pastel de nata — Portugal’s famous egg tart dusted with cinnamon. If you wish, you may also stop for lunch or dinner at a local restaurant recommended by your driver. At every stop, your friendly driver will share local knowledge, answer your questions, and offer helpful tips about each destination.

At the end of your sightseeing ride, your Welcome Driver will drop you off comfortably at your hotel or apartment in Lisbon.

➜ Pickup and drop-off are included from any centrally located hotel, B&B, or apartment in the city area. Your driver will meet you at the selected location and assist you before the ride begins.

➜ Airport and port pickups/drop-offs are not included in the standard sightseeing ride. If you need one, simply book an additional transfer for seamless service.
