Suggested Itinerary

See the city’s iconic historical sites illuminated at night from the comfort of your private car. This romantic, luxury experience combines Lisbon’s famous landmarks with lesser-known local treasures introduced by your English-speaking driver. After sunset, you’ll be picked up directly from your accommodation and taken on a tailor-made journey through the city’s highlights. While fully customizable, the following route is a recommended starting point.

Avenida da Liberdade: This grand 19th-century boulevard, inspired by Paris’ Champs-Élysées, is Lisbon’s main avenue. Stretching for a mile (1.6 km) and over 300 feet (90 m) wide, it maintains its elegance with fountains, shaded café terraces, and cobblestone pavements decorated with abstract patterns.

Alfama: Explore the heart of Lisbon. As one of the most colorful and lively districts in the city, Alfama is a charming maze of narrow cobbled streets and ancient houses climbing steeply from the Tejo Estuary up toward the castle.

Praça do Comércio: Pause at this majestic waterfront square and admire the statue of King José I atop the horse Gentil, sculpted by Machado de Castro, a striking representation of royal authority and the noble Lusitano breed.

Belém Tower: Admire the magnificent Belém Tower standing proudly on the northern bank of the Tagus. Built between 1514 and 1520, this landmark offers an unforgettable nighttime view.

Monument of the Discoveries: Dedicated to the adventurers and explorers who helped establish Portugal as a 14th-century superpower, this monument originated as a wooden structure created for the 1940 World Fair before later being rebuilt.

25 de Abril Bridge: Learn the story of this impressive suspension bridge, first proposed in 1929 and completed in 1966. Spanning the Tagus River, the Ponte 25 de Abril is among Europe’s most striking engineering achievements.

At the end of your 3-hour Lisbon sightseeing ride, you can continue enjoying the evening on your own or have your Welcome Driver drop you back at your hotel or apartment.
