Your main destination is 2Delphi Archaeological Site, where, according to Greek mythology, Zeus released two eagles from the east and west to determine the center of the world — the point where they met became Delphi. Once a sanctuary dedicated to Apollo and home to the sacred Oracle, Delphi was considered the spiritual heart of ancient Greece. Explore the archaeological site and visit the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring, the 3Delphi Archaeological Museum and the magnificent 4Ancient Theatre. Delphi also hosted the prestigious Pythian Games, the ancient forerunner of the Modern Olympics.
