In less than 1.5 hours, you will reach the historical city of Tomar, situated in the beautiful valley of the River Nabão. The town is best known for the Convent of Christ which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building was being constructed for six centuries and now impresses everyone with its unique architecture.
Of course, there are more nice places to see in Tomar as well. You can stroll around the old town and admire the authentic Portuguese architecture. Within a short walk, you will also find Synagogue of Toma or Church of Santa Maria do Olival.
When you finish exploring Tomar, the Welcome Driver will head towards The Castle of Almourol. Ths magnificent castle is located on a small island, so it is not possible to reach it by car. You can take pictures from the best viewpoints recommended by your Driver or take a boat to the island and visit the castle. In any case, the Driver will wait for you.
