Suggested Itinerary

Escape the lively streets of Madrid and enjoy a half-day private journey to the historic city of Toledo, traveling in comfort with your English-speaking driver. After pickup from your accommodation, relax during the approximately one-hour drive through the Spanish countryside before arriving in this UNESCO World Heritage city, renowned for its centuries-old architecture and cultural heritage.

Begin your exploration in Toledo’s Jewish Quarter, where narrow streets and beautifully preserved 13th-century buildings set the tone for your visit. Here, discover Santa María la Blanca, the oldest standing synagogue in Europe, now a museum that reflects the coexistence of Christian, Jewish, and Islamic cultures. Nearby, visit the 12th-century 2Toledo Cathedral, admired for its impressive Mudéjar-style tower and as the home of El Greco’s celebrated masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz.

If El Greco’s work captures your interest, continue to the Museo del Greco, located just a short walk away. Designed to resemble the artist’s former residence, the museum displays many of his later works alongside objects that influenced his artistic vision.
