Suggested Itinerary

Set off on a full-day private journey from Madrid to the historic town of Cuenca, traveling in a spacious, air-conditioned vehicle with your English-speaking driver. In under two hours, arrive in Cuenca, a unique town built across a steep hill and divided into two parts—the modern city in the southwest and the medieval old town separated by the Huécar River.

Begin exploring Cuenca’s most iconic sights, starting with its famous hanging houses, dating back to the 15th century. Walk up the narrow, steep streets to reach this small group of wooden-balconied homes dramatically suspended above the gorge, and enjoy the breathtaking views from above. Continue to the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art, housed in a stone building that resembles a medieval structure. Inside, discover works by prominent 20th-century Spanish artists, including Pablo Serrano and Fernando Zobel.

Cross the impressive San Pablo Bridge, a 60-meter-long structure of wood and iron offering outstanding views of the hanging houses and the surrounding landscape—an ideal spot for photos.
