Your private sightseeing car ride in Athens

We did two tours with Welcome - the first to Delphi and the second to Ancient Corinth, Mycenae, Nafplio and the Ancient Theater at Epidaurus. In the planning stage Margareth (customer support) was very responsive and answered all my emails promptly explaining the tours and itineraries. It was very easy to organize via email, paying a deposit via the usual electronic service used by all operators and paying the balance at the end of our tour. John, our driver, speaks fluent English. He picked us up from our apartment in Thisseo and was there when he said he would be. The days out were truly memorable and the restaurants, particularly the one in Delphi were great recommendations. The car is extremely comfortable. This was a great way to see much more than Athens (even though it has many historical riches itself) in comfort with a professional operator. I cannot recommend Welcome highly enough - they are very professional and you should choose him for your tours in and outside of Athens. The history of Delphi and Mycenae, the two star attractions for us are beyond description in how amazing they were and how special it felt to be there. They were very memorable days for us.

We were picked up from our cruise ship from Kostis, who was waiting for us outside the terminal, and made us feel very comfortable on our first visit to Athens. We had 2 teenage girls with us, and he was so easy to talk to, spoke wonderful English, and was engaging, and friendly. We enjoyed our trip to the city center, and he stayed with us, as long as it was allowed, and showed us the important sites and how to enter Acropolis and its Museum. We wanted to visit Athens, and it was such a wonderful honor to visit and we were so happy to have such an engaging, knowledgeable and respectful guide. Kostis made it just perfect for what we had wanted and made us feel at home in his beautiful country and people.

We decided to take this tour in our last day in Athens, few hours before our flight and we customized our stops accordingly based on our driver's feedback. Exploring Athens on a two hour tour was an exhilarating and eye opening experience! In a time we got to admire the stunning beauty and deep history of this incredible city. From the Acropolis, to the streets of Plaka every moment was filled with amazement and inspiration. Our driver Panagiotis was very informative and made sure we didn't miss any details sharing insights and captivating stories, about each stop. Yesterdays tour to Corinth canal was perfect. Yianni our tour guide and driver was so nice and friendly and very entertaining. There was just me and theio. We got picked up from the flat on time. He provided croissants for snacks and nice cold water throughout the trip. He played beautiful Greek music there and back. Car was so comfy and beautifully air conditioned. First stop was the canal, at each stop he said you will find me here, toilets over there, go do your thing, take your time. Second stop was Ancient Corinth site, same thing there, then he drove to a winery a lil further out from the other winery's, he said it was nicer and his favourite. He came through with us and sat with us during the tasting session. We had so much fun. We brought 2 bottles of wine. That was my first ever winery/tasting visit. We left there and drove to our lunch venue, a little Taverna right on the waters edge. Perfect spot, it was all very incredible loved every second of it
