Suggested Itinerary

Begin your Athens Layover experience with a convenient pickup from Athens International Airport or Piraeus Port, where your English-speaking professional driver will welcome you and help you get settled into your private, comfortable vehicle.

Your journey starts at the city’s most iconic landmark, the Acropolis. Walk to the top of the hill and enjoy breathtaking 360° panoramic views of Athens and its coastal suburbs. Explore the Parthenon, the Propylaia, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike — masterpieces of classical architecture dating back to the 5th century BC.

Continue to the Temple of Zeus, once one of the largest temples in the ancient world, and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, an impressive stone amphitheatre still used today for performances. From there, visit the Panathenaic Stadium, the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble and the site of the first modern Olympic Games.
