Suggested Itinerary

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona and enjoy half a day exploring the historic city of Girona, where many iconic Game of Thrones scenes were filmed. Your Welcomer will share historical facts, essential details about the sites, and personal insights that help you connect with Spanish culture.

Upon arrival in the old city of 2Girona - The Game Of Thrones Town, your driver will bring you to the historic 5Jewish Quarter, an ideal place to step out, stroll through the medieval streets, and soak in the atmosphere. Nearby, you can visit the traditional Arab Baths, the Gothic Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu, and the ancient 3Girona Cathedral. Climb the 86 steps leading to the Cathedral to admire Catalan architecture created by Jaume Fabre.

Your driver will then take you past the well-known 4Onyar River, where colorful houses line the riverbanks—perfect for capturing classic Girona photos. Next, you will visit one of the city’s most significant landmarks, the medieval City Walls. If time allows, you can walk along the full length of the walls and climb the lookout towers for sweeping panoramic views of the city.

Around the midpoint of your tour, enjoy a relaxing break for an authentic Spanish lunch. Your driver can recommend local restaurants, or you can explore the city center to find your own ideal spot. Afterward, you may continue discovering Girona or visit the nearby towns of 6Medieval Town of Pals and 7Medieval Town of Peratallada.

Pals is a charming medieval village filled with cobblestone streets, Gothic architecture, and inviting cafés. Be sure to visit the famous Roman-style Torre de Les Hores, a striking tower that rises prominently above the town. Peratallada is another beautifully preserved feudal village, renowned for its stone buildings carved from the moat encircling much of the settlement. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful coffee before beginning the drive back.

Once you have finished exploring Girona and the delightful villages of Pals and Peratallada, your driver will take you on a leisurely afternoon return trip to your accommodation in Barcelona.
