A little over an hour from the city, you’ll arrive in Blanes—known as the gateway to the Costa Brava—where coastal scenery meets a welcoming small-town atmosphere. Begin your visit at the 2Marimurtra Botanical Garden, a spectacular garden set on dramatic cliffs overlooking the sea. Home to more than 4,000 plant species and offering breathtaking Mediterranean views, it is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe.

Continue to 3Sa Palomera Rock & Beachfront Promenade, the rocky outcrop that marks the symbolic start of the Costa Brava. Here, you can stroll along the beach promenade, enjoy a coffee by the sea, or simply admire the scenery and refreshing coastal breeze.

Take a leisurely walk through the 4Optional local exploration, where you’ll find local shops, cozy tapas bars, and the Church of Santa Maria, a striking example of Catalan Gothic architecture. If time permits, your driver can also take you up to Sant Joan Castle. Perched on a hilltop, it offers sweeping views of the coastline and surrounding hills—an ideal spot for memorable photos and a peaceful moment above the town.

At the end of your coastal escape, your Welcomer will drive you comfortably back to your accommodation in Barcelona.
