We had booked a 8 hour tour, wonderful communication back and forth,( we wanted to see Sagrada Familia, Park Guel, we wanted to stop for tapas, we left the rest up to them, telling us our likes and dislikes.) They sent us the delightful Cesar who spoke perfect English and was very easy to understand, he is knowledgeable, bright and witty and really made our day. This was a great full-day trip going to Montserrat, then a traditional Catalan lunch in a nearby village, then to a winery for wine and cava tasting. There were only three of us, plus our wonderful driver, Angel, so it was a really nice size to be able to ask questions and feel like you were getting personalized attention. Montserrat is really beautiful. Even as a completely non-religious person, I enjoyed the visit and thought it was interesting. We were above the cloud-line the entire time, so it felt otherworldly. Lunch was great, as was the very informative visit tot he winery. All in all, a great day that I would recommend if you are looking to see something outside the city.
Our day trip to Girona was amazing! Juan spoke great English and made the experience even better. The city was beautiful, and everything was well-planned. Definitely recommend!
